Working in the community
With over 85 years in the industry, Anwyl Constuction has built a number of long-standing relationships with many organisations. We continue to support them in a number of ways, from getting involved in local events to providing financial support for many groups and clubs.
At each construction site, we fully engage with the community. Our project teams regularly meet with local residents to discuss how we can support them, perhaps by working with local schools in order educate children about the world of construction. This can both inspire their future careers and alert them to health and safety.
At Anwyl Construction, we are fully committed to our corporate social responsibilities, ensuring that community-enhancing benefits are enjoyed wherever we build.

Most recently, we have sponsored football clubs that are based close to our new headquarters – Buckley Town FC and Holywell Town FC. We are also currently in partnership with local schools, Hawarden High School and Ysgol Penarlarg Primary School, helping them to run a number of school trips, fetes and awards evenings.
Our Anwyl Construction staff are also passionate about fund raising for causes such as the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, Macmillan Cancer Support, and children’s charities such as the Christmas appeal TEXT Santa, which staff take part in annually. In addition, Anwyl staff participate in the national Wear it RED day, the Macmillan Coffee Morning, the Go Pink! campaign and Movember each year.
